17 Amateur Photographers Overdue in Rhosydd Quarry

http://www.grough.co.uk/magazine/2013/11/11/major-rescue-for-17-photographers-missing-underground-in-north-wales

17 photographers ... eight hours overdue ... Rhosydd Quarry ... vehicles found at Tanygrisiau ... underground over 14 hours ... first trip underground for a large percentage of the group

Doing the Croesor Rhosydd through trip.

But we don't know about ropes and harnesses really as it's new to us.

Shudder

Sounds as if they got away very lightly.

Glad they're all OK.

but on a light hearted note - even with 1 photographer in a group it will be slow, but 17 (or 14 depending on which article you read) - can you imagine the faff!!!!

For sure, Burt. I can think of one or two cave photographers who could make a 4 hour trip last 14 hours all by themselves.

When I was a lad Kodak wouldn't print that type of photo.

Glad they're all safe. I was once sold a 1.5hr through trip in Spain as a hangover cure. 7hrs of holding flash guns and forcing smiles later.....

Is this 28 days later site full of punters?

Whats it all about anyway? Wandering round in warehouses or something?
