The Beast in the Cave

Given the rise of Cthulhu in the last competition here's a link to a short story by H P Lovecraft in the early 1900s, the creator (or perhaps reporter) of Call of Cthulhu about a trip into Mammoth Cave.

Maybe there's a reason H E Balch used a candle for illumination....
