Why not support local businesses/charity this year with your Christmas shopping?

Surely Amazon have earnt enough in 2020.

Here are a few suggestions and ideas for presents this year.

A calendar for the Derbyshire Caver in your life!

With gift vouchers, 10% off all Rab and other great offers there are plenty of reasons to support this iconic caving shop.  A friend of mine just bought Fenix lights for his cycling buddy, so gifts for non cavers too!  ;D

Tony is in the Mendips next weekend and The Peak on the 19th or of course you can order online.

You can never have enough wetsuit socks!  ;D

Tim and I have thoroughly enjoyed the huge variety of films available through the Kendal Mountain Festival Film Pass - currently watching a team bring a piano down a mountain in the Himalayas!  Films available all December.

Is it possible to buy Ukcaving mugs.

If so Where?

Hija, I'll see if we have one spare, if so you can have one :)

Maybe we should get some more made??  :coffee:

The cave-related greeting cards on the Descent website are fantastic:

Ukcaving mugs, a word of warning: If you get (or have got) such a mug, don't put it in a dish washing-up machine; I did, and it took off most of the decoration, leaving a nearly-pure-white mug!  :weep:

I don't have a dishwasher, so I don't know for sure, but the print seems perfectly robust on mine and it's been in regular use for several years.
Perhaps there was a dodgy batch?

Dominika has some beautiful caving/cavers prints for sale on her website:

https://www.domeeart.com/art-prints

I think that she's stopped selling The Cave Starter pack due to printing costs, but I think another run is on the cards...

You must have a pretty severe dishwasher Fulk.  One of my ukcaving mugs has been through our dishwasher many many times with only a little fading  after four years.

Thanks for the suggestions Ms. Pegasus! That's SWMBO's Christmas present sorted - always a problem; you would have thought being married to me would suffice for an eternal gift.

Not quite local, but the Hungarian calendar looks good:
