Bit more on that story here - the two guys he rescued were breaking Covid regs, and they only got a ?200 fine instead of a broken back of hypothermia. It's grim.

Grim indeed - they are over half way now to ?500K.  A few folks on the UKC FB page have said they've donated so cavers have done their bit in a small way - however all it needs is lots of folks donating small amounts and a huge difference will be made.
