Make good use of your old rope by giving it to children to play with.

Good call. When I was a kid I'd have been over the moon if someone had given me some old climbing or caving rope. Much less likely to deposit you on your arse than a knackered piece of blue polypropylene.

I tied up an old rope in the tree by our flat, no kids lived there but the drunks from the pub next door loved it.
