Hi Duncan. I lightened the shadows a bit in the horizontal image and saved it to desk top. Whether that means I think of you or the cave when I turn on the pc I couldn't say. ::)

A quick trip to High Country with significantly hung-over members of the BEC after their Wookey Hole dinner.
A quick shot on the way in as they departed for the end of High Country, and a quick shot on their way out.

This one is a mystery to me - The start of High Country taken from Heaven's Landing.
I was attracted by the colours on the walls and failed to capture them. If I'd wanted to show the scale of the place then I'd have shot from the rise in the distance; High Country is much bigger than it looks in this shot.
But for some reason this image has gone crazy on Facebook; way and above the most likes I've ever had on an image and I don't understand why!

I'm happier with this one showing the drop into the top of Frozen Deep at the end of the scalloped tube.
The floor is simply boulders that haven't yet fallen through into the 35m drop underneath. It's no place for anyone with an imagination!

While I was waiting for the groups return I spotted a much better shot of High Country and is definitely one to go back for.
Maybe next time I'll get a full-on photo trip with plenty of time to play with the camera, but first they want to show me Golgotha :)
