Heads up for a bit of congestion at Garland's Pot this week
« on: April 01, 2021, 08:32:15 am »
Giant's Hole
Just a quick courtesy post to let folk know that Garland's Pot will be a little busy at a few points over the next week as DCRO returns to face to face training. I'll be running a series of rescue hauling sessions with small teams on that pitch during the following times:
Thur 1st April 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Sat 3rd April 10am to 12:30pm
Mon 5th April 7:30pm to 9:30pm
We have been limiting our numbers on each session to keep within our covid protocols. I'm not asking anyone else not to come to Garlands during these times, but if you can possibly use another cave or different section please can you do so. That will reduce congestion and the number of people our team members have to come into contact with. If you do need to use Garlands during these times, it'd be great if you could rig off the right hand wall instead, or we might have to ask you to wait a short time while we complete our operation and clear a safe path for you to pass through. Apologies for any inconvenience.

I don't think this will affect me, but I still wanted to communicate gratitude for the heads up.
