What Did Members Do on Christmas Day ?

Well we had a fairly traditional Christmas day, but did take my youngest for his first caving trip (to OFD) a few days before; he's since had his 2nd trip (to Sandford Levy).

We got covid. Last time I'll be wishing for Santa to empty his sack down my particular chimney  :furious:

Spent it in quarantine, entire family has COVID (3 triple jabbed, 2 double btw).
Except for me, I'm in quarantine because I've entered Germany from the UK. Thanks Santa  :'(

Walked around Austwick and Feizor, Pegasus rode.  Then commenced the more traditional eating loads, drinking loads and watching telly for the next 15 hours.  We were down from six to three due to covid in one branch of the family.  Caving had to wait until the 27th.

Went for a (very) quick dip in Winderemere

Yep...
Quick Nookey to Red Door through trip between turkey courses on Christmas Day so Sas could try out her new light.  A harness after a large dinner is less comfortable than normal.

Love this shot...
Taken outside the entrance on the boulder beach after dark.  I'll be using this one in the future to convince people there are big bits of cave on Portland!  All that lot fell off the cliff in 2014.

Spent at the MNRS, ate Christmas turkey and Christmas pud, not allowed to get pissed anymore.
Lovely group of friends. :clap2:
