Planning to go to waterways swallet on Thursday, but once again it's been pissing it down loads. Does this cave flood? I'm aware that being a swallet it's probably likely but I'm hoping not.lol

Sorry to tell you what you don't want to hear but it does flood.
Not completely to the roof, but parts of the entrance series do become impassable.
I know someone who has been stuck in there till the water receded!

Not sure how much water it takes to flood it though - maybe someone on here can give you better advice specifically for this week and current water levels.....

At the foot of the path down from the road, where you turn left towards the swallet entrance, there's a pond where the stream running around Waterings Wood sinks. If this is overflowing towards the entrance, or even looks as though it might (bearing in mind the weather forcast) it's probably best to stay out.

The awkward entrance crawl through the boulders down to the main chamber becomes impassable once the stream enters the cave. A friend of mine was trapped there for several hours and tells me that it's not a pleasant experience.

Robin Shaft is pretty near by:

However it is SRT - although most of it is a 45degree slope you can pretty much walk up and down.
