Was a good day - reallly interesting to be with the original diggers as we pulled the stuff out - the level of engineering was quite high - with a rail way, temporary expanding dams, air supplies and of course we got a running commentry about the history of the place and the digs and how they progressed etc.
its a fine looking little swallet cave now - and well worth an evening trip. Not entirely sure what the access arrangement s are (call at the farm first according to HnH website.)

I must warn you about the walk in though - its about oooooo say 30 to 40 feet from the car. Hard work these derbyshire caves.
