Dave Gill and Mike Boon recordings

I was given these tapes of Dave Gill and Mike Boon talking about the Nare River Cave project by Tim Allen a while back for the BCA Archive. They were a series of tapes made for the Nare River expedition in 1984 to help the cavers involved with the skills required for big river caves. They work in conjunction with Boon's article 'Notes on River Caves'.
I've attempted to clean them up as much as possible but unfortunately they don't have that good a sound quality after numerous attempts
Anyway, I thought it would be good to at least let people have access to them for historical purposes and I hope Tim and Dave Gill don't mind too much :)

Is there an online version of the original transfer of the recordings that I could download to see if I can make some improvement?

It would need to be the original untreated versions to stand a chance of doing something useful.

That was excellent, hearing the very early planning for the trip, before Boon got sadly sick.
It's interesting to compare the early thoughts against what actually happened in the end, especially for things like tyroleans, which ended up only using a tight line and a lifeliner to slowly guide the person crossing to the side if the tight line broke.
Still the best thing ever!
