Rob Dalby's caving library - Books for sale

Hi all.

As some of you know my husband Rob Dalby, long time caver (YSS) and Cave Diver (CGD) died unexpectedly last July.

Rob was an avid reader and bibliophile! Whilst I'm a caver too, I don't need this many caving books and I want them to go to people who will appreciate them, not some random charity shop.

I'm not putting prices on each one, please make me an offer on any which you'd like. I'll be donating 10% of the sale to CDG compressor fund.

It will be first come, first served.

I live in Marsden, near Huddersfield so will have to add postage if you can't collect them or arrange a collection.

The British Caving Library (BCL) is a national research and reference library based in the Peak District. It is funded by the British Caving Association (BCA) and the British Cave Research Association (BCRA) and run by the BCRA on behalf of all cavers. Jenny Potts who is the library co-ordinator is off sick today so I cant check with her about the books - but there are a few that we don't have. It would depend upon the cost and I will get back to you again after I have spoken to Jenny. Getting them to us would probably not be a problem as 'Caver Post' seems to do the trick .

I will do a check this coming weekend and be in touch with you as there are definitely some we don't have - I'll probably PM you if that's OK. As Mary has suggested, we usually rely on caver post to shift books around the country so I'm sure that will be no problem.
