    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

Off on hols shortly and interested in seeking out some lava caves on Tenerife. Had a few enjoyable trips on Lanzarote a couple of years ago which whetted the appetite for some more nice warm and dry underground action! I've had a bit of a search and found some trip reports but struggling with access details. Seem to recall some mention of a guidebook being written but forgotten where I came across this info - anyone know about progress with this or where I might find some more details?

Cheers, Goose.

Blimey things have changed over the last 20 years or so. I remember struggling to find it in some bushes.

You still will Peter. The Showcave is actually Cueva Sobrado and the entrance is further up the mountain. Cueva del Viento, Las Breveritas entrance is still hiding in the bushes and Cueva del Viento, Los Piquetes entrance is hiding in undergrowth and rubbish in the corner of somebodys garden...
