Seeing where are in the world I'll start with Breaking Glass by Hazel O'Connor.  Most of the song content is so relevant to today despite it being released in 1980 as part of the film of the same name.
Stand out tracks for me (of course there will be other thoughts) are 'Will You' - best love song and sax song ever; 'Eighth Day' - where we are now in the world, and 'If Only' - just wow!.
