An excellent cave well worth a visit in a very off the grid location.  Originally dived into and explored from the resurgence.  A one metre borehole 40 metres deep was drilled into the cave with a plan in mind to dam the resurgence and turn the whole system into a reservoir!  Fortunately said plan was abandoned and the cave was left with a dry entrance.  Nearby is an extensive series of stone mines which have intercepted various vertical caves with pitches up to 30 metres.  Our visit in c1997 was in conjunction with Wessex CC and Speleo Nederland.    We drove our cars about a kilometre into the mine and camped underground in some comfort.  Fond memories of an enjoyable long weekend.
