Sinkhole Conference has a New Field Trip
This year?s Multidisciplinary Conference on Sinkholes on the Engineering and Environmental Impacts of Karst (?The Sinkhole Conference?) has received a record number of papers and promises to be an excellent meeting. To add to the fun, a second field trip is being offered on Friday afternoon, 9 October 2015, at the close of the conference. ?Karst in our Built Environment? will be a half-day trip focused on the challenges of building in the karst of the Rochester, Minnesota, USA, area where the conference will be located. To register for this trip, read the trip?s description, and for more information about this year?s Sinkhole Conference, visitwww.sinkholeconference.com.

13th International Symposium on Pseudokarst
The 13th International Symposium on Pseudokarst will be organised in the Beskydy Mountains, Czech Republic, on 16-19 September 2015. The most important data on its organisation can be found in the First Circular (attached), while the detailed data and registration form are on the website:http://conference.osu.eu/pseudokarst. This symposium is organized by the Pseudokarst Commission of the International Union of Speleology.

National Speleological Society Convention Call for Geology and Geography Papers
The NSS Section of Cave Geology and Geography is accepting abstracts for presentations at the Geology and Geography Session of the 2015 NSS Convention, to be held July 13-17 in Waynesville, Missouri. All abstracts will be considered to be for oral presentations unless a poster presentation is specifically requested. At this time, we have not reserved poster space, but could accommodate a poster session if there is sufficient interest and enough advance notice is given to convention organizers. As we did last year, we also encourage interested researchers to bring posters from other conferences such as GSA, AGU, and ICS that may be of interest to attendees at convention. This provides an additional opportunity to share your work with your colleagues.
Abstracts may beno more than 250 words in length (this limit must be strictly met). In addition to the text, the abstracts should contain the title of the paper, and the name(s), address(es), and email address(es) of the author(s). The abstracts should be informative summaries that include the conclusions, and not lists of topics that "...will be discussed." Bibliographies and references should not be given in the abstracts. Papers may be submitted for either oral presentation as a poster. Please specify your preference when submitting your abstract.
Send any questions and your abstracts by e-mail to:
Paul Burger
cavemonpaul@hotmail.com
The deadline for abstracts is April 15, 2015. Early submissions are encouraged. Confirmation notes will be sent to everyone sending an abstract. Details on presentations times, dates, and other information will be sent to all confirmed participants after the deadline. For online details about the convention, visit:http://nss2015.caves.org.
