went to mouldridge the other day and found sevral shafts ont he same level as the cat flap entrence and a bit thurther down valley. All but one had concrete sleepers and appeared back filled. one of them had a steel plate fasterned with a derbyshire key. this is not the shaft on the hill above that drops into mouldridge, does anybody know were this goes?
is it worth trying to open the rust?
