It's that very distinctive fern. And I have a preference for rigging both normal entrances to avoid even a glimmer of a possibility someone has to try Little Meregill to let us escape, which may well not succeed.

This one is more obvious than you think if you look at the cave carefully.

Going a bit blue in lockdown a year ago. I think I mentioned some time ago it would be nice to have something else in place for the last big pitch as it's a bit chastening when it's cold and wet (ie restoration of the Elliot route in the roof). Just asking. Could get out of hand if it flooded a bit and it is out of kilter with the preceding more airy stuff.
