    Stolen motorcycle

I’ve got a tracker on my S1000XR, but only because it came with one and kept running the battery down trying to pick up a signal….insurance saving against the subscription cost was about £10 my way. But if someone nicks my bike I’m not interested in having it back. If I can stop them in the act...

    Stolen motorcycle

Sorry to hear that. My T7 got pinched last year. They cut through the chain & front disc with an angle grinder, then pushed it away with a moped. Police actually chased them, so it was recovered, but I went down the insurance route in the end as it was a nearly new bike, but was now in need of...

    Missing 50m tape measure?

Hi all Don’t suppose anyone has ‘borrowed’ a 50m tape and some REMs (line markers) from High Rift mine? If so we’d be grateful for them back! Either returned to where they were found or we can collect from the locality. Thanks….

My book "A series of short passages"

It’s a shame that there are copies unsold; I found the book thoroughly enjoyable.

    Travel might be interesting tomorrow.

Next Saturday is forecast to be a balmy 7-9degC up there - hopefully that proves to be correct as we're due to meet JH & (maybe) the youngster.....if the trip fails it'll mean that my sprog hasn't managed a trip underground this year.

    WTB Ecrin Roc

I don?t suppose anyone is selling one? Preferably not red, but I?ll take what?s available. Perhaps one of the Ecrin Roc hoarders (you know who you are!) would be willing to part with one in decent condition?

    Campsites?

Hi all Is anyone able to recommend a friendly campsite up that way? Just looking for a base to use for trips until club huts are opened up to the great unwashed. Thank you

Hi folks Does anyone know what the diameter of the entrance tube is to the above? Thanks

Orpheus - decent Public House nearby?

Hi folks Not strictly caving related, sorry. Anyway, can anyone advise as to whether there is one nearby, ideally within walking distance, or should one bring their own refreshment if spending the night there? Thanks

Guided caving in the Peak District?

Hi all Does anyone know of a reputable organisation that offers guided caving trips that are suitable for beginners in the Peak District (ideally south easterly, so nice and easy for the M1). I'm a new caver and would like to take my daughter (been underground once and she loved it) for a...

    Hello cave diving people.

Thought I'd say hello to the divers as that's why I'm here. Since I started to get more comfortable underwater, squeezing through wrecks and generally feeling less clumsy in the water, the idea of cave diving started to seem like a not too daft proposition, especially after I was coerced into...

    Old sod just starting out

Hi folks I thought it might be polite to pop a note up on here to say hello. I only started caving at the end of August, primarily, for one reason or another, to gauge how comfortable I feel underground in small passages/spaces. I did not really have any great expectations, but absolutely loved...
