Mobile Phone Signal Booster- Advise Please :)

I remember being taught that 999 was chosen so you could locate the right hole easily using the metal bar across the dial in a darkened or smoke filled room. Anyhow you lot have terrified Mrs T and she's now unplugged her signal booster and hidden it behind the fishtank!

Mobile Phone Signal Booster- Advise Please :)

Interesting stuff. I just had another look at ours, it is clearly marked RF in and RF out so I guess it is a repeater of sorts. It's been there years and we are overflown regularly by a very active military base and a microlight club and I haven't noticed either dropping into the garden. That...

Mobile Phone Signal Booster- Advise Please :)

Great Scott. Mrs T had some sort of gadget installed which claims to boost mobile phone signal in our conservatory which she uses as an office. Are the rozzers about to break our door down in the middle of the night and haul us off?  :o What harm do these devices do to warrant a year in...

    rescue

When I injured myself as a youngster on the top of Kinder (showing off to a girl sliding on a frozen pond  ::) ) My dad gave me a piggyback down and we visited A&E on the way home after we'd been to the pub

    Peak District - Wezzit?

Given that it is a mine and by process of elimination given other peoples answers, not one I have been to. Could it be Old Ash, since that is a mine I've not visited?

    Backdoor Box Mine

Whilst I agree that would be an interesting discussion point it's largely irrelevant. The Quarryman's has it seems stopped lending out keys due to threat of litigation. Probably just a case of hassle no-one needs for providing a service that doesn't bring large benefits to their business.

    Backdoor Box Mine

I think increasingly people who may not originally intend making a claim end up going down that route as a result of, for instance, making a claim on their income protection insurance if self employed, and their insurers looking to recover costs perhaps?

    Backdoor Box Mine

Trouble is it's not just whether a claim would be successful that affects peoples decisions in this sort of situation, it's whether they are prepared to put up with the inconvenience and cost of people trying.

    Fancy being Hunted?

I'm guessing there will be more to it than simply disappearing for a month and to make it entertaining you will have 'tasks' to perform each week - and probably a camera crew will have to know where you are at least. Otherwise we can look forward to a series of programs of 'experts' wandering...

    Cave Photography Workshop ????

I would potentially be interested. I've been known to take the odd photo underground but am no expert  :coffee:
