Here's few photos from our most recent cavers list weekend. We really are very grateful to everyone who gives up their time to come and train with us - hopefully you find the sessions useful.
There were various training exercises aimed at familiarizing the cavers with some of the CRO kit they may use on a rescue. The lego was part of a comms exercise to see how well people could understand and follow instructions communicated via radio..... the old joke ''I said remove his spectacles nurse'' springs to mind.
Apolgies Ian, they were rigging to haul a casualty, we have anchors and a vertical drop in our 1st floor members room to allow us to,practice rigging whilst remaining close to the kettle.
