    Petzl Aria

A couple of pictures for comparison. I also had to replace the headband on the Aria as a plastic locking bit fell out which meant it would keep getting loose.

    Petzl Aria

I've got an Aria 2 with RGB and Pixa 3 - I think the Pixa has a more robust design and easier to turn on / off and select which light setting you want, the Aria back is a little fiddly and difficult to close correctly - there are some small plastic bits that I could see breaking if not careful...

Found: caving belts in Swildon’s Changing Barn

I noticed two red Bat Products caving belts were left hanging on a post in the rear room of the Swildon’s Changing Barn. I have left them there.

I have a GoPro 8 and use the official waterproof housing to protect the camera. The case does a good job of protecting the lens and body from dents and scratches. I set up the camera before the trip and then only have to switch it on when I want to record video or change to take a picture. So I...

Best head torch for around ?60

I've had a Fenix HL60R since 2018, currently on Amazon for ?60. I don't use its brightest settings and it manages to last a couple of scout caving trip weekends, 6 - 8 hours over the weekend. Due to battery and metal casing its a bit heavier (155g) that a standard headtorch but you soon forget...

    Digital Caving Log

I'm also looking to restart taking groups Did anyone manage to re-start? Did you put any additional precautions or safety measures in place?
