  • Help us work out the future of the Inglesport Café

We've been trading since 1977 and next year will be our 50th anniversary.

The café has been part of that for a long time, running quietly in the background for years, and we don't think it always gets the credit it deserves as a genuine community hub. But we need to be straight with you: the café is under real pressure, and we’re not sure of the best path forward.....

3rd International Symposium of Speleology

EuroSpeleo

New member
In memory of Salvatore Dell'oca

Since the end of World War II there has been a significant evolution in the equipment and the tools for caving. From the technical point of view, it has gone from ladders to the single rope technique, achieving great advantages in the exploration of caving.

We believe it is appropriate to devote this 3rd International Symposium of Speleology to new technologies in caving. The Symposium will be held in the same place where there was the 2nd Symposium in 1972: Villa Monastero in Varenna (Lake Como).

The Symposium will be an opportunity to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the founding of the Gruppo Grotte Milano, one of the oldest groups of cavers the world, still very active.
