Abandoned Rope in Swinsto

30m rope belonging to Black Rose CC had to be abandoned at 4th pitch during a pull through of Swinsto today.  Lad's didn't understand why it snagged as it must be the very end caught up somehow.

Krab has been removed.

Please leave in Inglesport if retrieved.

before i went into valley entrance i was talking to another group who were kitting up to do swinsto so hopefully they got your rope out

I have the rope mike, MUSC pulled it but and will return soon Out on mobile but will post story on BRCC forum

I was the one who found the rope and yeah, it really was just the end that was stuck. The last 2-3 inches of rope had kinked into an 'S' shape and pulled into the p-bolt. The only way I could think of it happening is maybe it was pulled through a little too 'vigorously', flicking the end as it went into the bolt
