    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

I have been asked to mention that in order to celebrate Jim's life it is planned that there will be a gathering at his favourite watering hole, namely the New Inn, Clapham N Yorks on Sat 29th Nov.

The evening is set to start at 8 PM and there is an `open' invitation. There will be a book of remembrance for all who wish to sign, and it is also hoped that there will be some sort of photographic presentation as well, together with a bite to eat.

I've just been told that if you can switch on BBC radio four at four pm today you can listen to a tribute to Jim Eyre.

Can I pass this message to all that might be interested.
RRCPC and NPC have been asked by Jim Eyre's family to scatter Jim's ashes, as per his wishes, at Top Sink, Easegill Caverns, Casterton Fell; on Saturday 29th November. It is proposed to meet at Bullpot Farm from 11.45am and walk over to the gill at NOON. All very welcome.

As you probably already know, there will is to be an evening of rememberance in the New Inn, Clapham the same evening - I understand that some food will be available.

Ron Eyre, Jim?s brother,  has also asked me to tell you that he intends to auction Jim's collection of cartoons and pictures during the evening, with all proceeds being given to the Cave Rescue Organisation.

We hope to see you all there.
