Another light option

Whilst in Ireland at Easter I came across a Headlamp from a Polish company - A Mactronic Trinity 375Lm.
On a (bit of a) whim decided to buy one to try - 99 euro. (made it a present for the other half who decided she needed a new lamp!)

After a few trips it seems remarkably good, very bright light (3 usable settings) but the main feature I like is the Flood/spot device on the lamp. It does have some useless (for caving) gimmicks like a optional red light on the battery pack and the headlight will flash SOS !

Just thought I'd proffer it as an option as it seems comparatively well priced

6 hour run time put me off.

One of Miles' Chinese mining lamps will give twice that for another tenner.

Fair point, issue I've noticed with most (least the ones I have seen) of the Chinese lights is that they are very "Spotty" i.e. hardly any flood. Whereas this one gave me a good flood when needed.

Agreed.
But they are still usable. No use in a good flood when the battery's flat....
