Though it does remind me of a second hand regulator I bought, that came complete with hibernating wasp inside. Fortunately, I took it apart to check it over before before connecting it to a cylinder to try it out!
kinda scary that it happensI have heard of worse - A leech found in mouthpiece.
The "spider gaurd" is actually to keep larger particles of grit out of the regulator when not in use (while in the water) but it would also keep out unwanted guests out, while out of the water. So it's a real thing?? Grim
But if you do swallow the horse, it'd complete the circle as after you're buried: its going to the worms, then the ducks then...Presumably one would then need to swallow a bird, cat, dog, and cow, refusing to swallow a horse, of course, in order to avoid the consequences thereof.
