Another small earthquake in Derbyshire

Another small earthquake in Derbyshire. This one was near Matlock and only about 3.5 miles from me in Winster. I felt a shove from the back of my sofa as if someone was behind it and hit it, and the door to the room opened. Several neighbours were out on the road and looking out of open windows asking if other felt it and one lady said she heard a bang as well.

I guess if that was Ball Eye Quarry you'd have seen a mushroom cloud over the hill too ;)

:) It was centred very close to Oxclose Mine and Jugholes (from https://earthquakes.bgs.ac.uk/earthquakes/recent_events/20240307151931.html#page=maps )

Having poked around in Jugholes, I always thought there was more to the mine workings than is currently accessible. I wonder if it ever actually connected to any other workings?

Very likely, there are some of the less visited bits at the western end that I'm pretty sure go further, and connected to shafts at one point.
