Anyone know where this nylon string grows?

Some time ago someone gave me a reel of nylon cord. It's about 3.5 mm diameter, white with a black fleck and fairly loose weave. It was described as "paracord" by the person who gave it to me but I don't know if that's the case.

Does anyone know where I can buy another reel of this as it's all but run out.
The label on the reel is just about legible, in case it helps (see piccy).

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

Thanks

Oops, sorry, I didn't spot I was suggesting a polyester. I forget that Google 'interprets' my search terms rather than finding what I ask it for.

Try a yacht chandler. Jimmy Green Marine in Devon are very good. Send them the pic and they should be able to identify what you have. No financial interest just a satisfied customer

If you want 3mm nylon paracord then it is very cheap. You can get 100m drums for £20 on Amazon. This is something like three core threads and an external plait (prob 16). Pretty sure it is what you have.

Almost all marine rope is polyester and many times more expensive, let alone in Dyneema etc. Stretch is bad in most circumstances. The only use for nylon on a boat is as an anchor rode or spring, and not much is going get made or sold under 8mm, usually more like 14-20mm.

Fishermen use a lot of polyprop. This is even cheaper, and handily floats so you can wrap it round other peoples props. Not what you need I imagine.
