i still like the rope walf way up block hall it is terning in to stal dont no if its rate of groth has chaned sins watt pasage was opened.

Errr,it's not a lead mine.

Plumbago is a misnomer.

Plumbago (Graphite or "Black Lead) is a form of Carbon.

Most Lead mined in the UK occurred as Galena,PbS.

Yup... you're right (but I didn't go and spend hours checking)... I must brush up on my GCSE minerals curriculum :). I must have been thinking about being a kid again and thinking I got lead poisoning from a graphite pencil jabbed into my arm!! What do you do for a living Mole?

I think that picture of the "trapeze" would be great for a Descent caption competition.
