• Tony is on holiday until Saturday 20th

This means that the Travelling Shop will be out of action for a week and any inquiries sent to him won't be picked up until he's back.

In the meantime the rest of the Starless River team will be hard at work ensuring online orders are posted out to you all. Thanks everyone.

  • Help us work out the future of the Inglesport Café

We've been trading since 1977 and next year will be our 50th anniversary.

The café has been part of that for a long time, running quietly in the background for years, and we don't think it always gets the credit it deserves as a genuine community hub. But we need to be straight with you: the café is under real pressure, and we’re not sure of the best path forward.....

Bag Found in Easegill

I found a personal bag bobbing around in Easegill main streamway yesterday. If you would like it back, PM me an approximate list of the contents.

Hi

Probably not mine - especially if it was in Easegill, not Lancs itself. However, as I have dive kit stashed for downstream pushing (you probably know this already) - should you find dive kit in odd places (or you hear of anyone else finding dive kit, not knowing whose it is, and maybe moving it) then please let me know!

It was pretty high water in Lancs on Friday evening - I posting on the CDG website to this effect, as the speed and force of the water rise took me by surprise. Maybe it had been stashed somewhere before then, and got washed away? Otherwise, I know that Imperial were doing Top - Lancs yesterday...

Cheers

Tony

Definitely not yours, Tony, but I am looking forward to hearing of success in your downstream sump endeavours.
