The British Caving Library at Hidden Earth 2024
BCL will have a stand at this year’s Hidden Earth where you will be able to find all sorts of goodies for yourself or your Club library.
This year BCL has been fortunate to receive a number of donations of books, journals, exploration reports, etc. and many of these turn out to be duplicates of items we already have so, with the permission of the donors, we are happy to pass them on to you, in return for a monetary donation to BCL.
We have David St. Pierre’s collection of over 100 books plus a collection of over 180 other books - many are classic titles as well as recent publications.
We have 70+ journals from David’s collection plus another 260+ miscellaneous journals, 8 Expedition Reports and another 100+ BCRA titles.
We even have around 50 foreign journals, many from Europe with some 30 from the USA.
In order to give people a chance to reserve items beforehand to pick up at Hidden Earth, (or we’ll even “caver post” them to you afterwards), we have compiled a complete list of all the items we have so PM me with your email address and ask for a copy of the list.
We shall also be selling copies of the new Peak/Speedwell survey in aid of the Peak Speedwell System Fixed Aids Fund.
