I want to address the recent delays many of you may have experienced when accessing images from the larger collections in the BCRA Online Archive which are held on a Cloud server. The slow response times—and the frequent timeouts—have been frustrating.
Thanks to David Gibson’s efforts, the images have now been migrated to a new remote server. The difference is significant: response times are much faster, and accessing the archives should now be a smoother and more acceptable experience.
