Lol! All this reminds me of a story my mate Mark told me.

He'd prussiked out of Dihedral in GG and emerged from Jib Tunnel only to suprise a very startled couple, the lady concerned was bent over a boulder in the streambed of Fell Beck, the rest I will leave to your imagination.

Apparently there was a very awkward reclothing and they legged it!

I have been asked by my housemate to suggest a cave for him and his girlfriend to go to on Sunday? Any suggestions? Needs to be easy to find, one they can walk in scramble around a bit and enjoy with having no prior caving knowledge. Also be great if easy to get to from Leeds. I remember doing something that would suit last year north of grassington where you drove up a steep hill parked on the road and 5 minute walk in and the entrance had a recent collape.

Back on thread.  Try Birkwith/Browgill/Old Ing Caves, Ribblehead, Great Douk - Middle Washfold, Dow, Attermire area, etc,  but if your friends really don't have a clue as to what they're doing and only want to go in with a candle (for whatever purposes) and a piece of string (ditto) then forget this post.

Oh I don't know about forgetting it, I went pottering in the Attermire area with a pair of jeans and t-shirt, no helmet and just a hand-held torch!
