Does anybody know the current situation re acess, heard the p hangers had been chopped a while ago, wondered if they have been replaced, thanks

Not exactly bang up to date, but as an ex-local I do like to keep my ear to the ground on my old turf. As I understand things access is at present refused by the landowner largely due to thoughtless actions of sport climbers in recent years. A more up to date assessment will probably be best found via Council of Southern Caving Clubs or via Wessex Cave Club.
It is a shame as it is a really good trip, and up to a few years ago relations with the landowner were pretty good.
