Thanks. Good to see a vid of Borrins Moor - it's a nice little cave. Will you be going back to do the other half?  :tease:

Always a nice dunking after a bimble in the Churns.
This trip was last Sunday...as posted in a thread elsewhere the Dales experienced some fash flooding Sunday afternoon.

We noticed a significant rise in water levels and the water in Borrins turned brown and muddy while we were in there. The exit was the wettest I've seen it for some time...I even got a cheek wet on exiting  ;)

Always a good cave - even when flooded out as it looks impressive. I do like a trip following the water all the way through one cave after another, emerging into daylight every now and then.

Borrins Moor is good for that, with its 5 entrances.

And yet I always seem to spend ages wandering around looking for any other than the downstream exit.

I spent AGES wandering around looking for the main entrance the first time I went. I didn't have a specific point marked on the map, just the general area. In the end I nipped in another one I'd found and then retraced the water!

Turn right in the middle of the wallowy bit.  Once you've found your way out of one of the other 3, you can always go back in through a second one and see if you can find your way out of the third. It's a long time since I was last there, but I can remember a really gloopy muddy bit, some nice fast stream passage, and a piece with sharp horizontal rock ledges leading, unsurprisingly, to Razor passage entrance.

I think everyone has at some time spent ages looking for the main entrance, haven't they?

It's easy to find the resurgence, but for some reason that looks most uninviting  ;)
