I am working and staying in Bradford for the next 3 weeks or so.
Can anyone recommend a good real ale house and perhaps a good curry house, of which I am sure
they are not short. But its 20 years since I ate at the Shah Chat

According to our local CAMRA these are in the rankings

The Albion, Greengates
The Goldsborough, Bolton Road
The Woodman, Manchester Road

there's the regular standbys of
The Fighting Cock on Preston Street off Thornton Road
The New Beehive on Westgate
Haigy's on Lumb Lane
and the Weatherspoon's (it's called the Sir Titus Salt) where the Windsor Baths, used to be just up from the Alhambra

A good curry house - now that is a difficult question (some might say an oxymoron), these days I prefer Italian.
