If you're going to put a breadcrumb in, I think we should real page names.

Eg, instead of putting "Regions", put "Caving Regions of the UK and Eire".

Otherwise, things get confusing imho.

I don't agree as i think "Caving regions of the UK and Eire" is too long
eg (worst case)
Caving regions of the UK and Eire\Peak District\Castleton catchment area\Suicide Cave (aka Horseshoe cave)
or
Caving regions\Peak District\Castleton\Suicide

But what happens when somebody creates a real page called "Regions"?

I think we should be trying to avoid ambiguity.

I don't think the worst case is too bad really, it will all fit on one line easily enough.

I think I prefer the abbreviated form. It'll detract from the main content of the page if it becomes too big. We can rethink if someone does create a "Regions" page!
