Bridge Day!!!

For those who don't know...from the website:
Bridge Day? is the largest one-day festival in West Virginia. The New River Gorge Bridge is the world's second longest steel arch bridge with a main span of 1,700 feet.  At 876 feet above the New River, the New River Gorge Bridge is the second highest bridge in he United States and the highest bridge east of the Mississippi. On Bridge Day, BASE jumpers are permitted to parachute off the bridge and rappellers are allowed to descend and ascend fixed ropes. It is West Virginia's largest one-day festival and is rated one of the top 100 festivals in North America.

Well I was on the V-Bat team this year as a belayer. It was a really great time! Photos are up on Flickr....hell yes long single-pitch drops! This would be why we have huge racks
