Hi all. I've decided to go have a mooch in to brightgate cave this weekend,
The survey doesnt look too bad for navigation ( some people are saying otherwise though)
Whats your opinion on it?
Worth doing for an afternoon even though its supposed to be tight?

if a fat b*****d like myself can get round it, anyone can - as for the confusing entrance series, it's a lot of fun - just keep checking behind you as you're going in

Definitely recommended for an entertaining hour or two...

The first time I went was with a couple of gravitationally challenged cavers, one failed get further than the entrance and the other didn't like the look of the squeeze into the labyrinth and so after I had a quick look in the upper section we headed elsewhere. The second trip with thinner members was excellent and we had a good explore. Finding your way into the main cave via the labyrinth is pretty easy, but after you have wandered around and come to go out it's not quite as easy... We crawled and climbed around for about 15 minutes till I spotted a feint scratched arrow which gave a clue and after that we recognised key features and exited without any more difficulties. If you are really thin then there is a lot more to get lost in  ::)
