Hello, Does anyone know if the road to Bullpot Farm is clear now, for cars?

Hi Malcolm,

I have been asking similar questions regarding the state of the roads and the water conditions below ground as we have got a weekend of caving in the dales planned...

As BraveDuck has suggested please see THIS thread as it has some answers your after and some alternative routes that I wasn't aware of if the road is not passible.

Hope this helps  (y)

Yes, the road to Bullpot farm is clear - I had a drive over today (Wed) to check. There's no snow on the road at all, but between BPF and the house there's a huge heap of snow on the verge, which requires squeezing past. Looking over the fells, it's green grass all the way over to Leck, where it suddenly turns white.

And the sun is shining in Clapham

Has anyone been past Selside, if so what the state of the lane for Alum?

Also my guess is that the minor roads around Dent are still impassible so a trip to Ibbeth Peril is unlikely for the weekend...

Cheers,
Dave

Most of the roads should be fine by now.  I've been up to Masongill pumping station today no probs.

Me and a friend dug out any remaining snow yesterday and it's now easily passable. I say easily passable, it was easy in my underpowered van at least.
