Burrington inn

Could anybody tell me if the burrington inn has shut its doors please?

It does regularly at random times in the evening (when it runs out of customers)

Although their FB page says they closed down at the start of Sept:

Yes. It has permanently closed.

I suspect that it will be demolished and something a bit less shabby will replace it, however there is nothing at all in planning at the moment, so I may be wrong.
It was previously granted planning permission extension and change of use to a hotel, but that was several years ago, so no telling who's planning what now...
