"Car park" with a view?

My sister is looking for a suitable location, for part of a day out with her elderly neighbour. He can't walk far these days, but was very active when younger - including caving and cave rescue.

She'd love to find an accessible location with panoramic views. I can only think of The Weets, with a pub lunch in Malham.

Any better suggestions, please, preferably on the eastern side of the Dales?

Conistone Pie by the Dales Way is short walk up from the bridge over the Wharf by Conistone. Gives great views up the dale and Littondale. Might be up there tomorrow? The path that starts beside the White Lion at Cray runs along a shelf and gives great views down Wharfedale and up Langstrothdale.

Take the road up out of Langcliffe village towards Malham, there is parking at the top of the climb with views up Ribblesdale, alternatively drive up and out the top of Kingsdale, parking not brilliant but excellent views down towards Dent. Or head from Stainforth over towards Halton Gill, just as you start to descend excellent views down Littondale.

Viewpoints (with 180 or 360 degree views) are marked on OS maps. I had a look and there aren't many alongside roads in that area.

Nidderdale to Masham has views eastwards for a long way, but not necessarily wide-ranging views.

Wensleydale to Swaledale (choice of routes allowing a round trip) has some fine high views. Good pubs to be had too.

Hawes to Wharfedale has views toward Ingleborough. E.g. https://maps.app.goo.gl/t8BK3uCV4YoDUhVL9

It's easy to check these spots in advance using google maps streetview.

Middlesmoor at the end of Nidderdale has fine views from the village, an excellent pub, and views towards Scar House if your friend can manage a half-mile walk on a gentle uphill track. Then you can drive towards the bottom of Scar House dam from Lofthouse, park at the picnic area and see the entrance to Goyden practically from the road.

I did wonder if his old cave rescue team might like to use him for stretcher-carrying practice, but apparently he's a big lad, so maybe not.
