Cavers in Georgia (Caucuses not the American state)

Hi all,

I'm heading to Georgia for a walking holiday in November.  I wasn't specifically planning on doing any caving, but then it occurred to me that there might be some friendly cavers or caving clubs in and around Tbilisi, that might be interested in meeting up for a drink etc.

Does anyone know of any caving clubs or cavers in Georgia?

I think you'd best contact some Russians, as they are running most of the caving throughout the whole of the former USSR. I could dig out a few mail addresses, but most of the expeditions to the highly interesting mountains in Abkhazia are only happening in summer, and even then I'm told they are not very pleased with the weather they get. And as Russians I don't think they'd usually be found drinking tea in Tbilisi, unless they happen to be on one of their expeditions at the time.
