Hey everyone,
I'm trying to gather some info about caving regions around Europe to organize an abroad trip this summer with Dublin City University Caving Club.
We went to Vercors in France 3 years ago, thinking we knew what the area had to offer but realized when we got there that we didn't really have a clue. We might consider going back this summer if we can get some good (and modern) resources. The book we used was quite dated and caused us problems.
Any suggestions on other good regions in Europe are also very welcome. I've heard good things about Slovakia, Croatia, Italy, Ardeche and Pyrenees but of course we can go elsewhere. Has anyone run trips to these places before?
We're looking for relatively deep and extensive caves if that helps! Enough caving for about 10 days.
Thanks in advance
