SUSS (Sheffield Uni) meet in the Cobden view pub in Sheffield on a Thursday night. If you can't make that, post a message on the Sheffield forum at the bottom of the main board and we will be in touch.

Petzl XP mayo.

If you mean the Myo it's not very waterproof. There's been a couple of threads discussing lights on here - do a search and see what you can find.

sorry i mean suss

Yeah, i can't really speak for them but if you turn up and call them the 'succ' club it might not go down too well.

is there a 'succ' club anywhere?

That covers most clubs in the uk... :D

Depends what you want from a club... If you wanted to say cave two days (like Sat/Sun) then go for a club with a hut to save on travelling, if you just want one days caving a week/month, say Saturday and are not bothered about Sundays then any Peak based club would be good for your location..
http://w01-0504.web.dircon.net/pdc/caveclub.htm - gives a reasonable selection of clubs and info..

as i undestand it they died a death when the recruitment went something like this.
"hello fresher fancy going caving"
"ok how much"
"only £10 to join the club..."
"that sounds very reasonable..."
"but furst you need to join the athletics union and thats £50"
"Ummm I'll pass thanks"
