Caving Presentation this Friday (11th) 7.30pm at Settle Victoria Hall

Hi all,

This Friday evening (11th) at 7.30pm at Settle Victoria Hall I'm giving a presentation about the recent Culiembro Caving/Cave Diving Expedition where we connected the cave through to Xitu in the Picos.

Tickets are ?6 and any profit is going to be given to Ghar Parau.

This is a summary of the last two years with a bit of the history of the whole project  - which has featured all sorts of people over the last 26 years.

Hope to see some of you there.

An excellent presentation Chris, but I have one complaint .... for the past two nights I've had to sit up late into the night to re-read 'Beneath the Mountains'

Thanks for a fascinating evening with excellent audio visuals which captured the atmosphere really well. We were a bit surprised at your lack of knowledge regarding the whereabouts of the plane that our local caving hero crashed on your base camp location during WW2.
Laugh? I nearly bought a round.
We would have enjoyed to hear your thoughts on the 3 mile deep cave in the Himalaya too - any ambitions for an expedition to that one?
