I should give you a bit more of a clue than that.
Encouraging people who find themselves in the jungle to make progress by entering a cave (he did it swinging into the cave on jungle vine) and following the river through it. He ended up having to freedive a sump. No light, no helmet and no rope or other equipment.
I hope that no kids watching it decide to have a go themselves in a british cave. Utter dickhead.

He also eats spiders, and pisses on his t-shirt and wears it on his head. I'm sure people don't usually copy what he does  ;)

Lifted from a post on Facebook.

Hi jus wonderin if any one has conquered bar pot in clapham ingleborough area? i tried a fortnight ago with no ropes, but only managed a 10 meter free climb down due to some of my team bein a bit inexperianced, jus would like to know how deep it goes asi'm due to go bk soon

Mad, hmm lets go down a cave that we dont know with no equiptment, very clever lol.

In-case anyone dont know the cave in queistion, the 10 meter he climbed down was in-fact a 15 meter pitch.

Perhaps someone could find out this Numpty's height and weight so that way the C.R.O. will know what size "Bag" to bring with them on the call out.

On a lighter note, I have this great memory of seeing B.G. at the Outdoors Show last year. As He exited the B.C.A.'s artificial cave, feet first, on his back, his little lad,,about 5 years old, shouted "Daddy Daddy", and leaped on him............and, on landing, elbowed him in the bollocks, which in turn, caused him to sit bolt upright.........and smack his head on the (fortunately, polystyrene) surrounds.

Like the Media savvy, consummate professional that he is, he just laughed it off  :-\

Though we all said nothing, at that moment I understood the true meaning of word Schadenfreude.  :ang:

I've only just seen this post. As far as I know, the first pitch in Bar Pot has only been free-climbed in ascent twice - once by Dave Elliot and once by Mike Wooding. Also, as far as I know, it has never been free-climbed down - and I suspect that this would be a lot more difficult.

It is more likely that the gentleman/lady in question just went to the head of the first pitch, which involves scrambling down some 6 metres and along some 10 metres.
