For all those out there who never buy newspapers (like me!)...

The Sun: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article1870159.ece
The Daily Mail: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1081666/Dont-look-Climbers-explore-murky-abyss-3-100ft-deep-underground-shaft-China.html
The Telegraph: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/china/3284948/Climbers-explore-one-of-worlds-deepest-underground-shafts.html
The Guardian: A double page spread supposedly!

It's amazing what these "climbers" can do these days! Shame the press are about 14 months late again!

Journalists really are crap at getting facts/vocabulary right aren?t they (makes you wonder what else they get wrong!)  :-\

"This rocky chasm in China is one of the world's deepest underground shafts. It stretches down for an astonishing 3,100ft, or 1,026 metres."

And there's me thinking it was only a measly 500m  ;) ... Good stuff though!
