So, I am aware this list could become very long and a bit daft, but I am going to ask anyway.

I am looking for a list of CLASSIC trips to do in the Dales.
The MUST see places e.t.c.

A couple of examples that I have done are:
Simpsons to Valley Entrance
Lancaster to Wretched Rabbit
Ireby Fell
Calf Holes Sell Gill
Long Churns Upper and Lower

Please Continue Below..thanks!

Biased or not and having never been to Nidderdale before I was pleasantly surprised by the Manchester - Goyden through trip. Really good fun  (y)

Sir Francis Level is an obvious Dales choice if you aren't limited to caves.
Is the Big Gulley Route in Rowten a worthwhile variation or is it just SRT practice (albeit in a fairly impressive setting) like the normal route?

It's certainly a worthwhile route to take.

Go and have a look some time. (When it's not too wet.)

Yet to try the Big Gully route, done the usual a few times so it will make a pleasant alternative.
Manchester to Goyden and a round trip is a fine outing.

Not sure if any of the below could be classed as classic, but I've previously enjoyed them.

If you don't mind a bit of dampness;
Barbondale Traverse (Crystal to Bucket)
White Scar Cave (beyond the show cave)

One of the entries in NFTFH mentioned above;
Top Sink to Pippikin
or of course you could do any number of routes be they in-out, through trips etc in the Easegill system; Pool Sink, County Pot, Cow Pot, Link Pot etc etc..

Swinsto to Valley Entrance
Marble Steps Pot
Short Drop/Gavel Pot
Notts II

A random selection of other caves;
Sleets Gill Cave
Smeltmill Beck Cave
Ibbeth Peril
Out Sleets Beck Pot

Barbondale Traverse (Crystal to Bucket)

Be warned that the entrance to Bucket is a bit unstable at the moment. Completed a through trip from Crystal to Bucket recently, but had to move a hefty boulder (and a half) from the crawl at the bottom of the ladder in the entrance to Bucket.

Thanks, got out without a problem very recently!

Although having said that there was some loose material that rattled down the short drop a few metres inside Bucket..
